Millenium Trail

Take a scenic stroll along the banks of the beautiful Yukon River. Breathe in the fresh northern air as you walk or bike along Whitehorse’s most popular trail. The Millennium Trail is a picturesque 5-km loop that meanders in and out of woods alongside the Yukon River, offering stunning views of the rapids, forests, and mountains beyond.

Cross the impressive Rotary Centennial Bridge in front of the Whitehorse dam and, while you’re there, visit the world’s longest fish ladder. This easy, paved trail is accessible to all, perfect for a leisurely stroll or an energizing jog. Plan to spend about an hour enjoying the beauty of Whitehorse’s great outdoors before heading to your next adventure. Note: the S.S. Klondike is along the route!
