Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre

Step into the Ice Age! Travel back in time to when woolly mammoths, scimitar cats and giant beavers roamed the land. The Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre brings the prehistoric world of Beringia to life with fascinating exhibits, life-sized replicas and real Ice Age fossils. Learn about the First Peoples who travelled this ancient land bridge connecting Asia and North America, and uncover the secrets of a vanished world.

With interactive displays and a short film, it’s an engaging stop for all ages. Plan to spend about an hour exploring before stepping back into the present and continuing your Yukon adventure. Or pair this attraction with a visit to the Yukon Transportation Museum, just a few-minutes walk away.
